A group of young heroes ban together to defeat the Iconoclast when she and her followers attack the Columbia University campus.

The villain known as the Iconoclast attacks the computer labs at the New York campus of Columbia University, claiming that the university is secretly working with the government on a project to the detriment of all meta powered individuals. While her "followers" (suspected of being hired thugs) cause a disturbance on the campus, Iconoclast gets into the labs. There, she takes Dean Warner hostage to find out the truth.   Angel of Decay, Archer of Avalon, Dark Hawk, Ghostface, Plastiq, Shrike and Zoetrope meet as they battle the thugs then they turn their attention to Iconoclast.   The heroes rescue the Dean, but find out that what Iconoclast was claiming was true. The government was working on contingency plans to neutralize metahumans, villain and hero alike. Iconoclast manages to escape, and the Dean learns some of his rescuers' secret identities.
