Deadwood
A stunning copse of fully dead trees growing in the middle of the Glazed Forest. These trees are black, standing stark against the white environment. The ground between the trees is bare of snow, though the grass that is there is dead as well. The holy site for the people who worship Peridotta.
Purpose / Function
This site was grown for ceremonial purposes. People come here to marry, or other such events. Prays are not offered here, as praying to Peridotta is rarely or never done. People can come here to bask in the silent beauty of nature.
Architecture
The Deadwood is a collection of huge, dead deciduous trees growing in a ring around a grove of dead grass. The trees are black, as if they once burnt. The branches tower into the sky, though no leaves have ever been seen on these branches. There is a ring of smaller, less dead looking trees outside the main ring. Beyond that circle nature goes back to normal. The line separating living from dead is harsh to the eyes.
