Fortitude
Fortitude is a kingdom of warriors. They value strength above all else. Buildings are very square and typically made of red bricks. The people are bold, and enjoy testing themselves in feats of strength.
Carnelion’s kingdom is one of boldness. His favoured building material is red bricks and his architecture is very straight lines and square shapes. His people are all quite strong, and feats of strength occur almost daily where people are. Currently not at war with any other god. Fortitude is run on a military hierarchy. Anyone who joins the military is technically part of the line of succession, however you have to rise through the ranks as any soldier would in order to increase your standing. This almost never happens, as your rank shifts and moves as various people die or valorous service in peacetime is given. The only way to replace the current Commander is through their death. Of course, you can always attempt to impress Carnelion, as he can assign a new leader at will. This is very rarely done.
Culture
People in Fortitude like to be the best, in anything and everything. Contests are the most common activity during peace time, and can include everything from fastest knitted sweater to ugliest toenails. Most people spend their efforts on sporting activities, in order to compete in The Carnelion Games. An olympic style games set every 4 years to show mastery. There are two distinct age catagories and every single person in Fortitude is allowed to play in these games.
Demography and Population
The majority of people live near the coast, with a couple smaller settlements further towards the interior of the nation.
Religion
In Fortitude, there are temples in just about every city, but these temples are actually arenas, and are in fact called Arenas. The people go to them to worship, which they do by participating in fights and other feats of strength. Carnelion often attends these events, both in person or in disguise, and getting a small blessing is very common. Religion is very casual here, with there being no taboos against taking Carnelion’s name in vain. However, the people are careful to never challenge Carnelion to anything, for he accepts every challenge, even those given in a drunken haze.
