Mai was a month old when she was taken away from her family. She was handed to Inez to look after her (as payment for Inez’s fooling around). She was raised by Richard, Inez, Erik and on occasion Victor and Francis. She was placed into Richard's scouting unit when she was 5, she was trained to focus her ability into a more stream line blast out of her hands (used more to overheat electronics then to kill someone).
