Region - Airy Peaks

An area in the southern part of Akilum's Nest where large mountains magically float over a large lake. The exact reason the islands float is unknown, but it is believed it has to do with the known gateway to the The Plane of Air hidden among the islands.
The region is home to many sapient species, including the aarakocra, lizardfolk, tabaxi, and air genasi. The aarakocra and air genasi have built settlements on the islands themselves, while the lizardfolk and tabaxi use various means to travel up to the islands consistantly. There are also a large number of aerial species animals that make this region their home.
