Standing slouched, clad in full black plate mail, shining but also like shadow, decked out from toe to torso, at his waist is sheathed an equally badass intricately designed black metal great sword with a twisted jagged hilt. He wears no helmet, because you see it is under his right arm, two massive dark metal horns protruding from it, and you see this appears to be a human, who sports a mop of messy black hair, a series of ear, nose and eyebrow piercings, and an amount of eyeliner that would make even Bonestealer recoil.

Personal history
Parents are priests of the Nightseer. Axel used to be a church kid, until he hit puberty and got angsty. He wanted to be a hero, yet even though he followed Sehanine’s teachings, he remained a zero. Thus, he rejected it, and turned to Shar, the only god that could match the blackness of his soul. To his surprise, she answered.
Eventually he went so far as to started a Sharizan sect against “the tyranny of the Nightseer”. With the current state of the Kingdom, the Church of Sehanine felt pressure to take dramatic action as to set an example. Since they had no proof anything actually bad he’d done, he faced prison or exile, he chose exile. His parents hooked him up with all the protection they could. All their family heirlooms.
