The CR5 host a grand opening event for the Crack Rack, which is interrupted by Gogia.

Session 33: Crack Rack Grand Opening Session 33 (1 P.D.) It is the day of the grand opening. It's very successful, lots of people and everything is going well. Marth Kenphus - Vigil guard that Eri has talked to once or twice. Trisanna Duncan - Powerful woman with brown mullet and apron. Apparently a leatherworker. Helped to bring stability to Lower Lalt, by investing in it with her business at it's lowest point. From the Moonlit Vale. She talks to us about Calx and suggests that some of the more noble houses in the Platinum Estates are behind the Calx influx in Lower Lalt. She mentions that the south end of Lower Lalt is where she established a ranch and a community center. Sir Rudolph Trulis, of Osetta - Knight of the Golden Order, Paladins dedicated to Timora. Known by Nils through previous work. Introduces Nils to a potential job in the Mudhills. Ruins and Artefacts. Palea - Dimension where the ABC Liek Orphanage is located Gogia - The organization responsible for the nightmare realm, ABC Liek Orphanage After discussing our priorities, Brogg decides to get it on with the fights. Bonestealer is set to fight next and is matched up against a person named Milo. Milo starts to cast a spell and smashes a purple gem in the ring, which causes Vel, Eri, Tem and Brogg to disappear. Milo runs off and Nils and I chase him down and bring him into the basement to interrogate. He gives us information about Gogia and Palea and offers to bring us to our friends.   Session 34: Palea Milo leads Nils and Sal down mutlitple labyrinthian alleyways, where we find a strange alley that features a huge recessed area containing an old stable house. We enter through the front door. Meanwhile the others find themselves in a counterfeit version of Lower Lalt. There is a shoddy looking fighting rink in front of them and the back woods is much larger. The Crackrack is behind them but looks quite wonky. Vel checks the door and the interior seems to be the size of an outhouse. They see two different options. One is the old burnt down ruins of a house with something hanging out of it, which Brogg saw while in the fighting ring at the party. The other is toward a massive dome with a very long tunnel twisting toward it. They find an old dusty desk against a wall in a room with three paintings opposite. On the other side of the hall is a room obscured by red tapestry. On the desk is a notebook with writings where someone has been writing things and crossing them out. JOHN, ROOM, WILHELMINA, DARIEL (THARIEL). The realisation comes that this is like Thariel's house, but it's not quite write. They investigate the pictures and they see they have things written on them LIVED, SHRIKS LONG, LONG, IT, ON. There is also a note: FOR YOUR SAFETY BE SURE TO AVOID THE SHEET, BUT SURE TO NOT LOOK BEYOND IT OR DISTURB IT IN ANY WAY. They solve the ILLOS puzzle and find themselves in a street with a bunch of doors and a massive monster chasing them. Meanwhile Sal and Nils find themselves in a room with an Orc Cultist named Yuck, he insists that we need to join Golgia. Unsure of what to do, I let Nils make the next move, who draws his bow on Yuck, inititating the fight. After a LOOOONG fight, Milo is saved by a maroon clad clutist, the shell is killed and Yuck is subdued. After considering the "riddle" that Yuck had been chanting earlier, Sal, in total shell shock, decides to drive his dagger into Yuck's unconscious skull and tear a hole through his back. A metal grate is revealed, which Sal descends and Nils follows, we find ourselves at the other end of the alley, at the edge of a cliff. IT LONG LIVES ON SHRIEKS IT TRAVELS DOOR TO DOOR SANCTIFY WORSHIP AND FEED. PLUCK THE EARTH OF WEEDS LIKE FLESH WE TEAR THE WALLS ILLOS AMIENTA, AMIENTA meaning MADNESS   Session 35: Assimilation Thanks to the efforts of Milo, you were all one way or another transported back to the nightmare realm of Palea, but this time in your corporeal forms. Sal and Nils followed Milo only to be ambushed by a half-orc named Yuk and husk named Ferkis. Tem, Brogg, Vel, and Eri uncovered the name of a being called Illos, after which Tem witnessed a sight which will haunt him to his grave. The quartet were pursued my a monster, jumped on some mattresses during which Brogg was plagued by “secrets of the universe” he was never meant to know and Tem made a new friend, and then ate some gross food. After stumbling, fight, and carving your way though the macabre riddles set forth for you by the cult of Gogia, you all eventually reconvene in on more abusive illusion set by Gogia. Nevertheless, you all persevered and through this were able to harness some of the magic of the dream realm. You all attempted to rest up, but before you could a familiar white-robed cultist interrupted you with a brief sacrifice to Illos. Most of you turned away from the spectacle of Milos undoing, except Vel who visualized first hand the horrifying events of Milos life that lead him to where he is now. The white-robed cultists revealed that an entity called Illos was coming to cleanse Quoth for its ignorance, and bring upon a new age of enlighten, in which you too could be a part of. That’s right, for a limited time only, if you accept Illos into your heart, you could be bestowed an ancient hidden truth as well as power beyond the imagination. The cultist said that regardless of your insolence you all held potential, spoke of a hotel on an island off the coast of Palea, where he could introduce you all to his leader. You all wordlessly decided that wasn’t for you, and Tem attempted you access his crystal to take you all out of there and back to the snowy town, only to find out that he needed material components first. Lucikly, a now lucid Tosdarves “Blum” Fuselash, lurked nearby and provided a rather similar escape to the one Tem attempted, but in the form of a picture of the interior of an ornate house. Inside, Blum explained to you all that the cultists are harvesting the fear and memories of their victims to feed to Illos, and that each one of you from the orphanage are most likely slowly undergoing that process as you speak. He said he wants to help you all and Malk as you had helped him, and that you all need to find your tinctures which are hidden in the darkest depths of Palea. Believing Tem’s armor was the automaton Malk spoke of, he handed Tem E4’s tincture and instructed him only to wake up with it. Eri contacted Berezhki Wolakos through a temporary sending spell asking for help. Berezhki answered and instructed them to meet him in Bewylndir. As the shadows of the lavish mansion began to encompass the room, you all found your time running out. Minutes before being ejected from the decaying sanctuary, Tem found a foreboding book called House of Inferno II, and Sal found a ring in a chimney. You were all spit back out into the dark woods, with the seeming long gap between you and the cultists rapidly closing.   Session 36: Aftermath The party finds themselves at the conclusion of last session in the basement of the Crack Rack. They decide they need to smooth over the incident surrounding their sudden disappearance/reapparation in the middle of the grand opening. Sal makes his way to the ring and gives a speech that has a middling reception, but is generally good enough. Marralli expresses concerns about her safety at her new job and Ithyrria makes us promise we will never involve Gunkshed in our schemes.
