The Watch

A terrible event that destroyed one of the planet's two moons, and brought with it The Gloom.

Time was lost to all in this dark age of despair. There was nothing else except the scourge of The Gloom.

In response to the opening of The Dirge, the Eternia come back from their slumber, and begin massive influence upon the realm of Rakuen. Yggdrasil is summoned above Bohemia, the sun darkens to a orange hue, and the seas become tumultuous.

After eons trapped in The Dirge, Bahamut and Tiamat escape back to Rakuen. They both immediately begin mounting a defense against any foes that stand in their way, amassing armies to vanquish weaker foes.

The Eternals, formerly The Vestiges, are awakened from their imprisonment in The Nevermore. They move The Hereafter into the sky above Horizon. They then begin to reclaim their lost space throughout the multiverse.

The universe darkens, time stops, and all is embroiled in a fight for dominion over all. Many die, many more suffer.  There is nothing left but suffering and those who were unlucky enough to survive. And yet, so they did survive.
