Svogthir

The enigmatic "God-Zombie" and ancient Parun of the Golgari Swarm. From humble beginnings as a Devkarin Necromancer, he was one of the leaders of a pre-Guildpact faction of zombies that threatened the entire world. At the proposal of the The Guildpact, Svogthir had already ascended into his own form of Lichdom in a body consisting of different pieces of other powerful beings strung together by magic. With his undead perspective, he accepted the Guildpact proposal and created the Golgari Swarm.
As time progressed, he enhanced his undead body further, even to the point of using a piece of Cisarzm, the Parun of the Gruul Clans. At the height of his power, he was overthrown by a faction of Gorgans who called himself the Sisters of Stone Death. He managed to kill two out of five of them before they rotted his body and sealed his spirit in what would eventually become the Golgari Swarm's Guildhall, a mausoleum named Svogthos, after him.
Since his death, he has made several attempts at resurrection. It is not known how successful they were, but he has not returned to dominance in the guild he started and has begun to fade into legend.
