Moray Manor

Embedded in an unnaturally large growth of zurkhwood mushrooms, a once great mansion stands alone, it's entry adorned with plaque inscribed with "Moray Manor" in delicate evlish. A series of these fungal trees lead to the building, which from afar seems perched in the middle of a great pit leading down to the Deep Undercity.    Swaths of Glowspore Mushrooms illuminate the manor, while hiding a variety of species of predatory mushrooms. A store tower stands behind the building, with a gangway connecting it to the greater estate while it's ground level entry is sealed with fungus.   Within the building the aforementioned predatory has spread from the ground floor to the lower levels. The ground level once served as an ostentatious place of entertainment, with a dining hall, art gallery, 2 parlours and a grand kitchen. The floor above served to entertain grand parties, being almost entirely a ballroom, with a parlour and musical stage. The gangway to the storage tower is inaccessible, choked with a vicious bloom of russet mold.   Down below was once a collection of bedrooms that housed both the hosts and many guests. It's old attendees no longer rest here, but a great many more find it to be their final resting place.  Until recently, the master bedroom housed a twisted fungal entity that infects the living with a non lethal pathogen that puppets their bodies after death, directing them to this mansion to add their nutrient cadavers to the pile.    Finally, hidden in a cupboard within the master bedroom there is an alter of the woman of the house. It is the only room not affected by the twisted magics that warped the rest of the house, if only because a stronger eldritch energy emanates from the altar.

Architecture

Once a symbol of opulence and wealth, the Moray Manor has fallen into extreme disrepair.  That said, a building this deep in the Mantle, bordering the Deep Undercity, is in a surprisingly good state compared to buildings from this era. Rooms dwarf the inhabitants, with 10 to 30 foot high ceilings, solid wooden doors and once gilded windows.

  • Moray Manor
A ruined building, appearing to be of ancient Orzhov design, sections of the wall crumble while great swaths are covered thickly in lush fungal blooms. It appears to once have been a grand centre of social esteem. On the top floor hosted a ball room and parlours. On the ground floor there is a gallery, 2 parlours, a dining hall and great kitchen. Below ground level are a series of bedrooms, for both the hosts and many guests. The house also is connected to a storehouse tower by both an upper floor bridge and underground tunnel. This tower is now infested with russet mould.
