Demon's Vestibule
The Demon's Vestibule is a massive stone staircase which leads down from the Smelting District to the Dungeon Palace of Rix Maadi.
The smooth tunnel piercing through the city and The Undercity is rumoured to have been burrowed out by a massive Wurm mcenturies ago. The Entrance on the surface has been carved to resemble a giant, fanged, gaping maw, swallowing citizens as they descend down a giant "throat".
The tunnel contains a wide stone staircase and the walls of the tunnel are lined with many banner, carvings, paintings, and tapestries detailing the exploits of The Rakdos Cult and Rakdos himself throughout the millenia. It serves a sa sort of visual history and museum designed to inspire awe and instill terror in Rakdos memebers and unaffiliated citizens alike.
Recently the Demon's Vestibule served as the main entryway to Rakfest, for the first time ushering thousands of non-Rakdos citizens down to the grounds of Rix Maadi where Chronograph of Ruination was holding a concert with Rakdos himself in attendence.
