Emeria

The County of Emeria is de jure a vassal of the Prince of Morbiro, but with the neighbouring states of Ludvico, Neslonaan and Sigswald pressing competing claims, the territory is effectively autonomous. Though the Emerian countryside remains host to countless bandits, peasant militia, mercenaries and foreign soldiers, de-facto rule is presently divided between the Provisional Republic of Emeria of the Count Caldar Luciva - a moderate republican regime which controls Carcosa and most of the county's east - and the State of Emeria of Paolo Monpelhier, a hardline anti-monarchist movement that has recently seized control of Ellion.
