Session Four 12/19/24
General Summary
Characters Present: Darfin (Tim M), Zavania (Alyssa), Redla (Melissa), Kasari (Lou), & Roland (Zack)
After returning the talisman, the players decided to unwind at the local tavern. There, a woman named Varnoth approached them, having heard of their exploits. She sought their help in finding her husband and explained the situation. The party, intrigued by the quest, agreed to assist Varnoth. (For more context on Varnoth's request, refer to Characters & Reputation.)
While discussing their next steps, Blepp, the Kobold, approached the party, informing them about a band of goblins causing trouble in the old temple ruins. Blepp directed the party to Elder Runara, who could provide additional information about the ruins' history. The players initially chose to prioritize Varnoth's request and set off to an abandoned castle. The castle had three large towers built out of stone. Two towers bore no way of entering them while one did.
As they approached the castle, the party was ambushed by bandits. After a fierce battle, they entered the castle tower that was still standing tall, encountering more resistance on the first floor. Overcoming the bandits, they proceeded to the upper floor, where they faced the bandit leader, Gorrim. To their surprise, Gorrim, supposed to be a captive, revealed himself as the leader of the bandits they had fought. Accompanied by fully grown dire wolves and wolf pups, Gorrim admitted to being Varnoth's husband.
Insulted by the players for the deaths of his men, Gorrim attacked. The party emerged victorious, gaining valuable loot to aid them in the challenges that lay ahead. The encounter with Gorrim added another layer of complexity to the unfolding story on Stormwreck Isle.

- Crystal Ball of Telepathy - Zavania found this in a secret compartment in an alchemy table, Bandit Castle interior.
- Dwarven Thrower & Dwarven Plate - Redla found these items locked behind a display case after the battle with Gorrim, Upper Castle Interior, Gorrims “throne room.”
