After finding love with another traveler named Gorrim, General Varnoth Wender enjoyed many fruitful years with him until his sudden disappearance. Desperate to locate her missing husband, she sought the assistance of a party of adventurers, hoping they could aid in her quest. Following leads to a location where she believed Gorrim was being held by island bandits, the party soon uncovered a shocking truth—Gorrim had become the leader of the very group they sought. Forced into a harrowing confrontation, the party ultimately slew Gorrim and presented his head to Varnoth in a tavern. In a brazen and disrespectful act, a bold tiefling member of the party threw Gorrim's head into Varnoth's lap. Enraged by the callous gesture, Varnoth's fury knew no bounds. Her current whereabouts remain unknown among the residents of Dragon's Rest, leaving behind a trail of mystery and uncertainty.
