The Mysterious Manor
The Mysterious Manor, or the House of Lament, is demiplane that once sat between the Shadowfell and The Material Plane. It manifests itself as a labyrinthine mansion with forever changing rooms. In the house rooms appear and reappear with the house never taking the same shape. The manor has been, for some time, the prison of the witch Elphaba, sister of Wilmoor the Wise. Some say that she sent herself there to hide from her brother or the witch hunters of her home, others say that her brother cursed her to be there.
During his quest for the 13 Rings of Power, Wilmoor sent his adventuring party to the Mysterious Manor to collect 5 of the rings from his sister. There Belle, Sally I-Say-So, Polly I-Say-So, and Alphonse traversed the rooms of the manor. The heroes rescued echoes of Dorothy Gale, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man, and the Scarecrow from various horrors around the realms that they thought Elphaba had conjured up. They eventually fought the witch and got the 5 rings.
Since the 13 Rings of Power were brought together and reality was scarred. Many parts of the Material and Reflective Planes have been merging, changing, and overlapping. As a result of this, the Manor got pulled into a dimensional chaos that some are calling The Shadowfey.
