The Summer Struggle

The Summer Struggle was the day that Cinderella and her friends took the Summer Court from Queen Tilliana, changing the political landscape of the Feywild.

Gretel the Gold Knight, when traveling through the Summer Court discovered that Prince Jack had been kidnapped by Queen Tilliana of the Summer Court. With the help of Jack the Giant Slayer, the namesake of the prince, she told Cinderella the truth, that the boy she had been raising was a changeling.   A party of Gretel, Jack the Giant Slayer, Cinderella, and their friends, Prince Aladdin of Agrabah and Queen Aurora of Endormia snuck into the Palace of the Summer Solstice to take the throne. They first battled Tilliana's brother, Hyrsam the Prince of Fools, and husband, King Llyr of the Summer Court. Hyrsam fled the battle and with the aid of The Fairy Godmother, the King was defeated, his soul trapped in Aladdin's lamp.   In a final battle against the Queen, Lord Trevan Mustardseed tried to protect his queen, but it was futile. Cinderella connected with the Summer Fire at the base of the Mother Tree and ascended to Archfey status. The party was then able to defeat Queen Tilliana, making Cinderella the new Queen of Summer.
