General Physical Condition

Haus is a black paint mustang in good health with feathering on his legs. The marks on his face slightly resemble a skull, and often his face is painted to accentuate this feature around the Festival of Death by his owner, Ryoten.

Specialized Equipment

Most often, Hauss lacks a bit and has hunting tack on his saddle.

Personality Quirks

At times, Haus' lack of fear to wolves can be an issue as he is not afraid to stomp on, rear at, or even bite at wolves that get too close to him or attempt to bully him out of their way. Haus is also terrified of large fires and prone to kicking and bucking.

History

Haus was caught, broken, and tamed by Ryoten as a test by the pack in his handling of animals. Ryoten was able to capture Haus from the back of one of the pack's wolves and lasso him, and as Haus was the lead stallion of his herd, the rest of the horses followed, allowing him to pass his test. Although it took some time to build enough trust with him to be ridden, Haus is now Ryoten's main travel companion in the wilderness, particularly in rough terrain. Haus isn't easily spooked by large animals, wolves in particular, making him a good horse for Ryoten to use while hunting or travelling with the pack.

History

As Ryoten's son, Orion is also allowed to ride Haus. The two get along fairly well and prior to Orion taming his own horse, Cygnus, he would often borrow Haus from his father for travelling.
