The
Dance of Blood, although not a holiday in her name, is one that the Goddess is a proponent of and actively encourages, despite its legality or lack there of in many areas.
Physical Description
Having been a championship boxer prior to her rise as a goddess, Sekhmet is incredibly fit and toned, retaining her mortal appearance. Her hair is long and often mostly kept under a bandana, left loose and curly with her bangs framing one side of her face. She often wears a dark eyeshadow and eyeliner with divine paint streaking down her cheeks. Sekhmet also has an array of piercings.
Sekhmet is quite fond of skirts and sarongs with chunky heels, usually pairing them in plain colors with bright, vibrant tops. Most often her tops are sleeveless and she will wear a gold armband that matches her large hoop earrings. Her love of hibiscus flowers has bled into her fashion sense as well, as she often will have one in her hair or her clothing accented with the flower's pattern.
Mental characteristics
Born Fatima Bera in Egypt, she was a mortal mage with little interest in magic and instead from a young age, focused her attentions on physical activities, with a strong love of boxing. As a young adult she had become rather well known in the mid-weight boxing circuit for her speed and efficiency during matches along with a wonderful energy that lived for the crowd. Fatima's ascension to godhood came by accident for the most part, when she had learned of corruption in the
Cult of Lions, which she had been a part of. Unlike many cults, at the time the lion cult was ruled by money and favored those in power, casting aside and ignoring completely those who could not buy their way into assistance from the lion god. She issued a challenge to a priest of a local temple who had been placing bets against her and using their connections to attempt to rig matches.
Rather than accept the challenge themself, the very god of lions accepted on his priest's behalf. News of this spread wildly, with the match becoming one of the most watched sporting events in history, that a mortal would take on a god head to head. Organizers of the fight did not allow for the god to outright kill her, and added the stipulation that it would be a fight within the normal rules, although not many, including Fatima herself, expected this to be followed and many predicted and bet on that she would be killed during or after the match had concluded. Although there was an attempt by the lion god to circumvent the rules tword the end of the match, Fatima being so skilled allowed her to win by proper definition of the rules, and the shame of losing caused the lion god to step down and pass her his mantle, due to the disgrace both of losing to a mortal, and having been caught in attempting to cheat.
From that day forward, she changed her name to Sekhmet, a lion god of the human era from the region, and gained massive popularity with mortals instantly, becoming associated with good sportsmanship, fairness, and overcoming the odds. Her cult is now widely associated with sports in general but many popular and even more famous boxers than she was at the time of ascension have named her as their patron god.
Sekhmet is a wildly popular god with athletes and mortals in general, only surpassed by
Novi, The Goddess of Orcasm who has reigned for longer. The mutual war/alliance between their cults to better one another point of pride for her, and considers her relationship with Novi to be one of her strongest alliances, if not the strongest.
Social
She is well known for a bubbly and friendly demeanor, said to brighten the room with her presence alone. Her followers attest to that she is incredibly personable and willing to make time for them even regarding small matters. This demeanor is one attested to by her fans prior to her having joined the pantheon as well, who have always remarked that Sekhmet was incredibly kind and patient with them.
That said, she is still an incredibly confident goddess, and assured in herself and her own abilities. Most attest to that if Sekhmet has put her mind to something, and claimed she will do it, it is because she is well aware she is capable of doing so and will follow through, regardless of obstacles.

Towards Novi, The Goddess of Orcas
Relationship Reasoning
Sekhmet and Novi are both gods associated with sportsmanship and athletes, and such, much of their cults share similar ideals and symbols. Although they are technically at war with one another, both gods view it more symbolic and get along quite well. Much of their rivalry seeks to whip their respective cults into competition with one another, feeding their drives to be better, stronger, and more effective because of one another rather than despite it.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Both prior to becoming goddesses were quite popular athletes, Novi a talented swimmer and diver, and Sekhmet a championship boxer. They share a strong love of sports and good sportsmanship, and share many of the same ideals.

History
Sekhm, then known as Ash, was one of her first dedicated fans during Sekhmet's boxing career, quickly turning into a superfan and follower of her throughout her growth. He continued to follow her through her ascension to godhood, becoming one of Sekhmet's first devouts, and a dedicated one at that, going as far as changing his name in honor of her.
Due to their unique relationship, Sekhmet is quite close to him and maintains a strong personal relationship with Sekhm, far beyond that of her other followers. Although they have only met in sparse moments during her boxing career, their online relationship is quite strong with the two frequently chatting not as devout and patron, but as friends.
