Not much seems to go on in the amphibian's head, ever, really. Sticky is about as intelligent as expected for a lava salamander, the only intelligence it has coming out when something is between it and a food source.

Sticky is well known among Jon's social circle for repeated attempts to eat anything that may fit in it's mouth, including but not limited to: shoes, trash, unguarded food, grocery bags, and other animals.
Relationships
History
Jon found this salamander as a child, when it was only a few inches long and brought it home to keep as a pet. With no supervision for him or the salamander, and no adults to tell him to release it back to the wild before it became tame, the newly named Sticky became dependent on Jon, to the point of being utterly useless at self sufficiency. Sticky remains in Jon's house and a near constant presence around him, ever begging for food.
