S8: A Pull of Heart-strings Report
General Summary
The party wakes up in Barons Rest Inn and discuss who, if any, had experience in love in the group. They eventually decide on how to move forward with Faintree's second request: to reignite the love between two people in the city of Chiaf. First they stop by to pick up Gepps rapier from the blacksmith, who also lets them know that he has lots of contacts in the city for jobs that can't be carried out by the Adventurers Union.
They first go to the Eastgate villa belonging to the Boivin family to spy on Yasian Boivin, and later follows him as he leaves his home. Unsuccesful in being stealthy, he notices the party and they decide to talk to him instead to convinve him that he needs help in love/marriage. They find out more about him and about his previous affair with Kaan Aggela, and he wants the partys' help to find out where Kaan stands and why she ended it.
They find Kaans home, and details on her family situation. Moonlighting as a fortune tellers master and apprentice, Kido and Cheheri gives Kaan an honest tarot reading, stirring up memories and emotions and revealing some of Kaans thoughts on her life.
Reporting back to Yasian, the party now needs to wait and see what happens as they spend a few quiet days in the city.
