Hungry Plateau
A tribe of Sable People settled atop the Hungry Plateau early in the First Age and have remained there ever since. The Hungry Sable Tribe and the Satrapy of Kostaddi are both ruled by their Queen, whose consorts command the Sable cavalry.
The Silver Sable Lancers ride ‘Lunar Deer’, the Pelorian name for the giant antelope with curving horns. Unlike their distant cousins in Prax, they fight as a close ordered, drilled heavy cavalry regiment. They provide the Lunar Army with cavalry capable of operating in hostile terrain.
