Shah Jezebeth I is the monarch of Arduli and Supreme Paragon of the Court of Niran. She is the matriarch of the Royal House of Arduli, through the Seiriqine cadet branch, and is the third ruler of the Seiriqine Dynasty of Arduli.
Appearance
Shah Jezebeth is a shortish tiefling woman with reddish-brown skin and pupil-less honey-coloured eyes. She has voluminous amber hair that goes to her shoulders, and horns like that of a goat. She wears an assortment of royal dresses, and bears the Dhikarius. She wears the Chain Mitre of Zhalita.Personality
Shah Jezebeth has been noted as a much more demure Shah, especially when compared to her predecessor. While not as ostentatious or outgoing as the Shahs of the past have been, she has still shown herself to be a capable ruler. She seems eager to reclaim Tyfilion's historical holdings in Qamenkas, but believes that it should be done through peaceful means and at the behest of the inhabitants of the towns there. Jezebeth Acantha Seiriqine Arduli was born on the 7th of Chauntar, 1339 MT, to Shahzade Damakel Arduli of the House of Dakdur and Shahzade Nalyvia Arduli of the Seiriqine branch of the House of Arduli. Because the current shah at the time - her aunt/uncle Shah Euphoria I - never married or had legitimate children, she was named Mirza when she was six years old. When Shah Euphoria died in 1353 MT, Jezebeth was named Padishah at age 13. However, she was too young to officially rule, so her father Damakel ruled as regent until she came of age in 1357 MT. At the behest of her advisors, Jezebeth entered into a political marriage with Sukarno Anoda, the heir to the Pelavayanish Anoda Merchant Company. After meeting in person, the two quickly became good friends, though both stated that neither found attraction in the other. In 1361 MT, they were married, and Sukarno became Spahbad Apollos II. After trying for many years, Jezebeth became pregnant at the end of 1364 MT. As of Aramair 1365 MT, she is in her second trimester. In her seven year of her proper reign (as of 1365 MT), Jezebeth has primarily dealt with attempting to increase trade through Arduli, tempering the division between Low Court and High Court Niranists, and increasing political influence into Qamenkas, with the most successful initiatives related to the latter being the addition of Hukryix Dikmiza to the Arduli Dynasty and the founding of the Qamenkas Dungeoneering Society.
