Soleil

Soleil, also known as Sialah, Lathander, Savras, Azshura and Amirate, and known by the title of the Morninglady, is the goddess of the sun. She is the partner of Luna and mother to the firstborn Divinities. The month of Siamair is named after her.

Soleil is a deity who adores life in all its forms. She is jovial and lively. She is also occasionally depicted as a trickster deity.

Epithets

As Sialah, she was worshipped as a goddess of parenthood and fertility. As Lathander she was worshipped as a goddess of beginnings and the dawn, and as Savras she was worshipped as a goddess of endings and dusk. In Shamashine, she was worshiped under the name Azshura, and in the Court of Niran, she was worshipped under the name Amirate.

Holidays

Midsummer is considered to be Soleil's holy day. During Midsummer, various different festivals and celebrations are held, most of which included a bonfire. In the Court of Niran, this day is known as Shasawm.
