The Curse of Winter

"After the Invasion War, the powers and abilities that were bestowed upon Tharizdun by the aberrations intrigued Shauril, and she began studying how to become the supreme god. Winter took a peak into her workplace, and discovered what she was doing. In rage, Shauril cursed Winter: wherever Winter walked, that land would become cold and covered in snow. Crops would die and food would become scarce. In sorrow, Winter exiled herself to Reortha. Her younger sisters, Spring, Summer, and Autumn, decided to do something about this. Spring went to the places affected by Winter's wandering, and told the people and animals to plant crops and copulate. Three months later, Summer went to the places Spring went, and told the people to take care of their crops, and for the animals to raise their children. Three months after that, Autumn went to the places Summer went and told the people to gather the food that they had grown. Then, Autumn went to the North and convinced Winter to come back. When Winter returned, she was greeted with the people and animals prepared for her return. She was overjoyed. In thanks, she blessed many animals with hibernation, think coats, white fur and others. To the people, she taught them how to make warm clothes and make food last through the winter."
