2022/04/27: Rift Exploration Part 2 Report

General Summary

Knight, Ruby, Sunderfury, Eldrin, Sith, Kenju, Reela
Fought more flail snails. The purple ones have a displacer effect, are immune to most magic and resistant to physical damage, and have a chance to destroy magic weapons that hit them. They have special tentacles that hit on targeting checks and drain Constitution.
Then we fought a party of shadow adventurers. They were made of darkness and had physical demon masks. Knocking the mask off would make them dissipate, and doing a lot of damage could also apparently kill them.
We wandered past another party of tough fighter/samurai types that were fighting another group of phantoms.
We found some caves that had been sealed. Two had been smashed open and presumably looted. We opened the third and found a mutagenic evil liquid trap in the entrance. On the other side was a boss room with an iron golem thing with a giant torso eye.
