Kenju Kenhaku
Kenju Kenhaku
The son of Budo, Shisui's Cardinal Dragon of Earth. An experienced (if straightforward) martial artist and wilderness survivor, Kenju has spent almost his entire youth in the spirit forest where he was born. He is known to be nearly unkillable; while he can be incapacitated, wounds that should have killed a normal human have simply made him pass out.
He is friends with many of the creatures in the forest, but he has had very minimal social interaction with more intelligent species or people from other places. After he met the Shadows of Existence during a fight with the Jade Phoenix on September 6th, 23 ARL, he joined up with them and helped them navigate the spirit forest to find Reela Su's village and Kenju's father. Budo subsequently requested that the Shadows take Kenju with them so he could "get out and do more human things".
Kenju was with the party for their adventures in the Chasm of the Lost, their fight with the Rift Dweller, their hunt for the Phoenix Clan party that had stolen the Emerald Lantern, and their visits to various places where the Lantern was used to reinforce the bounds between worlds.

Kenju has an intricate dragon tattoo across most of his torso.
Barbarian son of Budo, a powerful forest dragon on Shisui. Lives in a big forest with animal friends. Has a magical dragon tattoo. Extremely difficult to kill. Human form, big and strong, very straightforward fighter.
