Gobogeg, the Twice-Invoked
In the book Unaussprechlichen Kulten, there are multiple references to Gobogeg, the Twice-Invoked. In the book Gobogeg is described as appearing in the dreams of the Afflicted as a mountainous column of wriggling amorphous alien flesh topped with a single lidless eye. When summoned Gobogeg causes a powerful earthquake that can be felt for great distances. In these dreams, the entire continent is dragged upwards as Gobogeg rises from the depths of the world, resulting in a massive landslide /cave-in destroying most of the world.
Currently Gobogeg is a captive, kept asleep deep in the world, but his dreams can escape his prison and these dreams fuel the madness of his followers.
