The Masters of Lore believe the Outer Gods are the true gods and intended for reality to be ruled or dominated by the Great Old Ones. The Great Old Ones were cheated out of their inheritance the Elder Gods and imprisoned. The Master of Lore believe great rewards will be given to those who achieve the release of the Great Old Ones from their prisons.
