The Great Old Ones

The Great Old Ones are incomprehensible beings of unimaginable power from Beyond the Farthest Shore. These creations /children of The Outer Gods once did battle against the The Elder Gods. Most of the Great Old Ones were sealed away by the Elder Gods to prevent further pollution of the multiverse. However such is the power of the Great Old Ones it is not entirely possible to completely contain them, how can a being whose very nature violates the laws of reality be entombed?
