Kal is the Eshti name for the yellow-orange sun around which Ashar revolves. It is in a binary system with the smaller red star, Bal. Kal along with Bal are worshiped or revered by many cultures of @Torvalen, under different names and conceptions, most especially by the ejdehan as the Bright Ones.
