In my fiction, I want to help my readers build a better world by imagining what is possible. Born and raised in Indiana, the open, fertile plains and warm sun of the Midwest are reflected in her smile, and the rich cultural diversity of the area's long industrial history is deeply rooted in her creative heart. In her friendships she values honesty, creativity, and community and works to foster those values in everyone she encounters. Motivation
Haly's motivation behind Rhapsody in Realms is entirely selfish. She is tired of reading boring stories with shallow characters living in worlds only as deep as the paper they're printed on. So, in the spirit of her French revolutionary forebears, she has set out to fix the problem herself: by helping authors build better worlds, worlds that have the richness of detail and complexity of emotion demanded by the most compelling, can't-put-it-down stories.
