Goliaths

Goliaths are an alternate version of frost giants that were hand-crafted by Knátta, God of Strength. As such, goliaths bear resemblance to Ymir and are the embodiments of endurance. Sleeker, smaller, and more intelligent on average than their frost giant counterparts, goliaths place a premium on self-sufficiency and independence. Despite this, they still live in somewhat small tribes located in harsh, frigid environments where a single mistake can bring doom to an entire tribe.    Goliath society is entrenched in the principles of fair play and a "survival of the fittest" mindset. Where other races might struggle, goliaths thrive thanks to these core beliefs (even if they are contradictory at times). Their sense of fair play means that a goliath is seen to pull their weight as long as they do the best that they can in their current state. An elderly goliath may not hunt the mightiest beast to feed the tribe, but they can lead the tribe through unforeseen hardships. A sick or injured goliath can still teach the children the ways of the tribe. A goliath in physical decline is not necessarily a weak goliath.
