Though the former capital of Daya's Empire and an important city to the Dayarin Empire, the city has complied with Atla's rules regarding representation. Having families that it sends to the capital building as well as leaving the Daya Nila capital building vacant, only for the King and Queen's visits.
Defences
Industry & Trade
Due to the city's location on the Lynulu river basin, it is a major hub for goods moving from Ave Kris, and the Viansa district, and vise versa. Due to the heavy competition from Ave Kris for merchants, the city has had to keep its docking prices high to try and keep up with its rich neighbor.
Infrastructure
Though an old city, Daya Nila has done its best keeping up with the other modern cities like Tatiana and AnnonRose.
Guilds and Factions
There are many rebel groups that try and form inside the city, as Daya Nila has a rich history of its own and many of its citizens don't believe in the current Atlan rule. The strongest of these groups is known as the "Yellow Jackets".
Yellow Jackets
Ethnic Atlan adorning the Yellow Jacket uniform. The Yellow Jackets typically dress in high class, military like, uniforms and patrol the city roofs and back alleys, constantly picking fights with the Atlan military, believing them to be the true military of the city and wanting the split and recreation of Daya's empire.History
Being the first capital of Daya's Empire, Daya the unrelenting built the city on a strong foundation along the Lynulu river wanting to expand her empire into the swamplands of the Viansa, though never being able to. Expanding westward instead Stoiana, Daya's hometown, soon became the new capital due to its strategic location.
Dayanan, the city's previous name, began to fall into unimportance for the empire after Daya passed on and her crown was handed on from one hand to the next. With the split of Daya's Empire and the fall of the Eastern Daya Empire Dayanan was the spark that brought to life the State of Dayanan and eventual the Dayarin Empire before its fall to the hands of the Polaris Kingdom and its renaming to Daya Nila, for political reasons.

Geography
The ancient Lynulu swamp that Daya fought her way through before founding the ancient city of Dayanan.
Daya Nila is built upon the swamplands of the Lynulu river basin. With the lush land being great for producing rice, the city's main export became rice until Ave Kris, originally named Dayaua, was built and its easier access to the Kris river and to the south meant that it became the larger exporter of rice.
Natural Resources
With the warm winds that blow to the river basin, the area is able to stay tropical year round despite its high latitude, which is great for planting and producing the many crops that are farmed year around. When the many variations of Daya's empires of the past had control of the Viansa there was a steady stream of good to be exported from Daya Nila. Since the Atlan rule however, most of the export has gone to Ave Kris as its positioning is much better at delivering goods to the Rhosaya and Primiea districts.

Commander Taya Immie, cousin to Morgana of the West, dyed her Glebb armor pink when she led the siege to take Daya NilaPink is an important color in Daya Nila, as the city was named after the pink flames Daya the Unrelenting produced after defending the city against Rheyan invaders, with the people seeing it as a sign of true passion from their empress. With the term Ananila or "showing pink fire" actually coming from this and meaning to show pure passion in something.
After this, many leading commanders from Daya Nila would dye their hair or armor pink, showing their loyalty to their soldiers. With the war against the Polaris Kingdom however and their historically pink roots, this fell out of favor as it turned into showing support for the Atlan cause.
