Morganelle
"City of Morgan" City name translation
Rhydar's westernmost city, this mega port city is a gateway to the kingdom from the west, though, it might not seem like it at first glance. Due to the city being so far from any other major city, as well as the capital, it is the most autonomous of the kingdom's cities, which makes it seem like its own nation at times.
Demographics
Though the Dayara district is one of the most diverse districts in the kingdom, having the largest immigrant population, Morganelle, being so far from any other major city in the kingdom, is mostly made up of ethnic Daynes.

Being the second capital of the Dayara district, with the other being Daya Nila, the city has to send its head "families" or representatives to the capital. Though due to the distance the city is and the fact it is one of two capitals, the city is mostly autonomous when it comes to law, apart from the basic Atlan laws, there are no specific rules for Morganelle or the western Dayara district.
Defences
The city, being relatively isolated from the rest of the kingdom, is a very safe place to live. Though because of this distance, Atlan/Kymba troops very rarely patrol its streets, and as a result, the city has its own military, known as the Western Warriors, that is funded by the head families in Morganelle.
Industry & Trade
Due to its isolation from the rest of the kingdom, Morganelle mostly relies on imports from far outside the kingdom to get its goods that it can't produce itself. Though most of the city's goods are grown/made within the Dayara plains that stretches most of the western section of the Dayara district hugging the Riana river.

The city's own military, or "Western Warriors", are always on standby. They take the long trip to the military base in Kymba to have the best training before being stationed in Morganelle and various other western Dayara places for months at a time.
History
Founded by "Morgana of the West" this city, which gets its name from her, was one of the first major settlements to be sieged by the Primea Empire. The city, once called Stoitie, was renamed to Morganelle, meaning Morgana's city, and made it the new capital of the Primiea Empire, outlasting the original Daya's Empire. The empire eventually united with the east and became the Dayarin Empire before losing the Polaris war and becoming the Dayara district, with the city becoming a secondary capital due to the district's large size.
Tourism
Gates of the Cords
This large bridge, which connects the Cords, a series of islands used as high security prisons, is the only way on or off the islands due to their cliff sides. It is said that Emperor Melan Isolde, of the Dayarin Empire, built the Cords to trap Polaris Kingdom prisoners, with its gates, topped with blue PrimRose Remnant, sedating all the prisoners who made their way across the bridge onto the islands.Geography
Riana river making its way through the western Dayara plains.
The city is surrounded mostly by the western Dayara plains that carry the Riana river, a major river in the Dayara district. The Luppi mountains to the north, the largest mountain range in Rhydar, prevents the cold airs of the north from reaching the city, keeping its temperature moderate year round.
