The Queen of Zaron. She has been affected by a wasting sickness for many years and no one has found a cure.

They met soon after Peter's change of heart. Mariette was originally wary of the man who had murdered his parents but after a while she realised that he wasn't the monster he appeared to be but was in fact, incredibly remorseful of what he did. She never did find out why he did what he did but soon she grew to care for him and him her.
