E.S.o.R.M.s Independence
E.S.o.R.M. has been sending an unusual amount of power to Balamelle.
Plot points/Scenes
Involves: Riko, Sibyl
Countries: Riza, Le Veaux, E.S.o.R.M., BalamelleE.S.o.R.M. was previously joint owned by Riza and Le Veaux and was being operated by people living on the structure to process trash and convert it to electricity.
E.S.o.R.M. announces itself to be an independent nation, a claim that is only respected by a small handful of nations (Balamelle, Bayir, and Ha Lang).
Part of their rebellion is that they no longer process trash at full efficiency, causing trash to rapidly build up on the structure.
A recon mission to E.S.o.R.M. was sent out, operated by Unit 004.
Kue estimates that there is 25% more trash present than the last time they were there.
Noel says that there are more scavenger bands than last time, likely due to the increase of unprocessed garbage.
Cordelia discovers that even though E.S.o.R.M. is producing electricity, Pile (the one settlement in E.S.o.R.M.) doesn't have sufficient energy leading to frequent blackouts.
Xavier and Riko go below deck to look for Sibyl, who they find in the control room of E.S.o.R.M.
Riko hacks into E.S.o.R.M.s records and discover that it's processing 20% of what it's capable of.
This should be infinitely more than enough energy for Pile alone.
He digs deeper and discovers that a huge majority of the energy being produced is being given to Balamelle, inexplicably. Balamelle would only need about 1.5% of E.S.o.R.M.s production to power the entire country. The amount of energy being provided to Balamelle has been steadily increasing since E.S.o.R.M. declared itself independant.
Xavier discovers that the mechanism is working on its own, when it's supposed to be tended to by many workers at a time.
Riko takes a copy of E.S.o.R.M.s data back to ARK.
