Pile

Pile is the only settlement in E.S.o.R.M., aside from a precious few citizens who live largely separated from the rest of the island.

Pile Port

Pile Port is one of two port locations on E.S.o.R.M., the second being the Northern Landing Plate. Unlike the Landing Plate, however, Pile Port exclusively allows domestic boats and ships (most significantly those of fishers).

Architecture

Materials used to build Pile were scavenged from The Heap and E.S.o.R.M. at large; due to the unreliable availability of materials, buildings in Pile seem to be put together using any material that could withstand the test of time. Houses are primarily built from scraps of metal but there is very little consistency between homes or even in the material used for a single building. Pile is very unconcerned with the aesthetics of the settlement.

Geography

Pile is built at the base of the Heap to the south. Past the heap, Pile extends to the southern border of E.S.o.R.M.
