Muwangi
Muwangi is a nation on the eastern continent best known for it's economic system of sarbuye - favors for favors - and maweni - tightly knit communities.
Culture
The Muwang culture places a lot of emphasis on community. The entire nation is built upon a foundation of assisting one another when needed and knowing that one can rely on their neighbors kindness when needed. Smaller settlements are typically very communal, where many things are shared with the entire community. This relationship wherein many families rely on and bolster one another is called maweni, or "the village family". In larger settlements such as cities, maweni is usually a more narrow group of people, such as the community within one's apartment building.
History
I was raised in Muwangi, so it was also jarring to move to Riza for me. Muwangi has a long and rich history as well.
Military
The Muwang military is mostly there as a contingency plan. Muwangi hasn't been to war in centuries, having no desire to act aggressively towards other nations, but the military remains in place in case another nation attempts to attack or invade.
Agriculture & Industry
The west of the nation borders the Severa Wastes and the area leading up to it is a brutal desert with little land that can be used for farming. The far eastern end of the nation however is much more wet, allowing for a more stable agricultural industry. East Muwangi grows a lot of rice, and also grows a significant amount of corn and tomatoes.
Economy
Muwangi, in fact, has no official form of currency being minted by the government. Rather, Muwangi has a unique economic system that draws elements from the barter system wherein while many goods and services are traded for those of a similar value, the majority of transactions performed in Muwangi aren't directly item-for-item. Goods and services are readily offered to others knowing that when they need something from the buyer they will be extended the same kindness; a concept called "sarbuye". In areas with a high volume of tourists (such as the capital city of Kiawambe) some retailers accept foreign currency, despite being otherwise unusable in Muwangi. This foreign currency is most often used to provide change for other visiting tourists, however there are change shops - a type of retailer who only deals in foreign currency - which will trade foreign currency to Muwang who travel outside of the country. Additionally, most settlements along the borders of Muwangi will accept the currency of whatever nation they border, in order to make short term travel between Muwangi and it's neighbors easier for both peoples.Exports
Due to the unique nature of Muwangi's economy, large scale exports to other nations are few and far between. While the Muwang government isn't opposed to sending exports to nations that need them, it's generally believed that it's best to allow Muwang resources to flow through Muwangi rather than out of it - foreign nations don't hold the same ideal of sarbuye. Because of this, there are a number of crops that grow in Muwangi that are next to impossible to get outside.

The Muwang representative has said that she supports Jenarus' fight against Riza, but the country doesn't get involved in the conflict in order to protect itself from Riza's ire. Rani thinks that Muwangi is cowardly.
