Aiya

Aiya was a second in the Hize-kaze gang, before her friend and boss ended up killed in some weird attempt to start a war. She was born a heinin and seized control of her good looks to elevate her status into a Geisha and a prostitute. In the Chinohana District, such a profession was regarded with respect, and her ability to entertain garnered her a lot of prestige.

Aiya had her hands on the Midori Han-Dan-Kai, too, as she was fucking one of their Captains, Hiei Kitsumaru--and all his subordinates, but that was really just a part of the thing he was into. She was into it, too, and he was sure to check in regularly; what started out as a bit of a game to both of them grew into a deep affection, and there was no doubt that Kitsumaru loved her.

Aiya's second, Kaeru Nikko, and she have been pulled into several different strange situations around Toshi Josho--this is usually the problem with living in a place so close to the Senkyo. She watched Nikko's affection for Koshiro grow, and watched as he managed to earn his status as a ronin. Jealous, she demanded Kitsumaru marry her so she could also claim Samurai status, and he had no problem obliging her.
