Hantei Rei
The eldest son of Hantei Khunbish and Togashi Nakayuro, Rei was lucky to get born without taint. Every time his mother gave birth, she rolled the dice.
He was raised in a loving household on stories about the Hantei family and its origins. Khunbish talked about the stories before they were members of the empire--stories she wasn't supposed to talk about. She said so frequently.
Rei grew into a magistrate for the clan, and was stationed in Toshi Josho. The gang-run city was a bit of a mess, but he kept it running smoothly; now, in fairness, he did this by working with the gangs, but that was just the culture of the city itself. Who was he to question it?
