Elemental Pockets

Pockets of elemental material that behaves like a zone of that Elemental Plane sometimes manifests on another plane of a different element, or on the Prime Material Plane. For instance, it is possible to find a Water Pocket on the Plane of Elemental Earth, an Air Pocket in the Plane of Elemental Water. These pockets tend to have irregular shapes and vary in size, and make up the majority of inhabited areas within the elemental planes. For instance, the Aarakocra store their treasures in Earth Pockets that appear as floating mountains on the Plane of Elemental Air.
