Champion
There is only one Champion in Each Penscle, there are times when there is no champion in the penscle when no one has the aptitude to be one.
The Champion is an honourable title, it holds no official position in the hierarchy, but if the champion tell you to follow him, you follow, if he tells you to run you run, if he tell you to hold this ground until your last breath, you hold your ground until you are bleeding out.
To be a champion of a Penscle you must be a veteran, who has survived everything the monsters of Rondo can throw at you, and you ask for more. The champion has survived against the odds and should in reality be dead, it is not uncommon for one of the New Triads Champion to be Selected for the Penscles champions as they make for a terrific shortlist.
The Champion often Lives beyond their race's natural lifespan, sometimes champagne are not cleric or paladin, they are simply too damn good to die.
