Government

The Senate elects a Triumvirate of co-equal Premiers to ensure no single person has complete authority. They each serve a ten-year term, and are always selected simultaneously. Should one or more become incapable of leadership, the Senate must elect a replacement. A Steward is chosen in the event the missing Premier may yet return to service and complete their turn.
The Senate is elected every five years by representatives who are themselves elected by the common folk every two-and-a-half years. It is a fragile experiment to be sure. And it is one whose counterpart in far Ros-Rejis
