Wytching Hour

The Wytching Hour is a period of time in the country of Scalmoore during which the use of Magick is heavily restricted. It is believed that magick is most potent during this time, but due to a country-wide blackout that occurred in the past, the Wytching Hour is also enforced as a curfew to prevent criminal activity. Licensure is required for those who wish to use magick during this time, and the Church of the Prevailing Man, a religion strongly opposed to magick, has a large presence in the country, influencing the laws and regulations surrounding the use of magick during the Wytching Hour.
