Iji Fiki

The Iji Fiki, or 'Tidal Fin' Tribe is also known as the merchant tribe, as they're located in the breadbasket of the mainland and export an abundance of grain from their vast fields to the other Tribes. Their capital city is the center of all types of art and cultural experimentation. "You won't eat the same thing twice in your life in the Golden Plains" is a common saying for the Iji Fiki, and is technically true, since nearly every single family has a different name for the same recipe.         Most of Iji Fiki culture comes and goes from the capitol city, and those speaking of the Tribe usually are referring to just the city.

Common Taboos

Drink-Cutting: once a common habit for Oris, in which they would cut themselves to lose blood so that alcohol would affect them properly. This was banned during the days of the Empire, legalized for a short time after the start of the Great Tribe Era, then quickly banned within city limits once again due to the unhygienic messes around drinking establishments.
