Vennu
Long-gone from their home-realm of Yayyamara, the Vennu are now a hard, rocky shell of their former selves. Once called the most beautiful race in the Solar Domain, their outer body is a rough collage of black and gray stone, a self-imposed curse set upon them for leaving Yayyamara. They are now seen as the bulky rock-men of a rare kind.
During the hellish centuries of the Astro-Tribal era, the Vennu were bred for three specific purposes, with any deviations thrown into the Abyss. This process destroyed their populations down to near-unrecoverable numbers, and permanently split the male population into two hyper-distinct groups, giving outsiders the impression of three separate sexes among the Vennu.
Basic Information
Anatomy
General: Hard, rocky skin like obsidian or granite. Usual humanoid anatomy.
Mavenu: Female. Wide range of body types, softer crown sheets.
Seel'Navenu: Smaller male. Slim, thinner rock texture, larger crown sheets.
Wahel'Navenu: Larger male. Dense muscles, large body, smaller crown sheets.
Genetics and Reproduction
Due to generations of controlled breeding, their genetic variation is limited. 80% likely newborn males will be the same type as their father. Only women have more variation due to less focused breeding.
Incredibly painful, but well organized and practiced birthing procedures. 60% of mothers die during childbirth.

Social Structure
The Vennu are special in that they act as a singular group, with every decision given great thought on how it effects their near extinction as a race. Due to their endangerment the Great Tribes allow them to stay independent while technically connected to Tribal society for their safety. No Vennu is permitted to choose their path in life, including if they will/will not have children, nor with who. This system is hard, but they believe it better ensures their survival as a branch race.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Vennu stay close together in colonies of 20-150 in the Lehmoforja and Rawakiat regions, out of the way of everyone else, only communicating to the outside world every so often.
Average Intelligence
Female Vennu intelligence varies well, but the two male groups are hyper-specific. Seel'Navenu are highly intelligent, while Wahel'Navenu are on the opposite side of the spectrum.
