Glynow Forest

The forest is home to many dangerous creatures, including were-creatures (see Therianthropy), banshees, hags, quicklings, and other dark creatures. Additionally, mundane threats like wolves, bears, other predators, and insects that spread diseases. The forest is avoided by most of the island's inhabitants, who fear the dangers that lurk within its depths.
Despite the danger, some hunters and scholars still venture into the Glynow forest in search of knowledge or simple foodstuffs. There are also small communities of people who live on the fringes of the forest, relying on its resources but wary of its dangers.
