JAN 8 - Forge of Fury, Act IV
General Summary
What Happened?
Current Date: Midday of 5 Heptatyr, 994 AN (New Moon)
And first session of 2023! A bit of a slog. An octagonal room with three statues and two heavy wooden doors. After some debate on how to proceed, the Souper Troopers decided to tear down the (notably trapped) statue and cause some ruckus. After some more searching around, Lacarria and Sprout noticed a small door hidden behind one of the other statues and they took it into a room where they were "greeted" by some Azer. Some discussions were had and the party moved onto a new area that was filled with bodies. -Cutscene endured- and two Large Skeletons and a Wight rose to attack the party. They noticed a body that may have had some nice loot, but were in too dire of a situation to grab anything and made their escape. Feeling a little bad for watching it happen, the Azer allowed them the opportunity to rest up in a safe room before heading out. They learned a little more about what else lived here and promptly exited Foundry. On the way out, the party made the smart decision to sneak out. It seems that their activities of killing Kobolds and their pets had riled up the tribe that lived in these caverns. Somewhat demoralized, the party trudged their way back down the Stone Tooth and made their way back through the Drowned Forest to Mudtown where they'll pick up next time.

Explorers' Guild: Search for Khundrukar - I an almost two week long expedition, the party traversed across the northern coast of the Verdant Coast of Shurima at the bequest of an Explorers' Guild patron. Some information led them to believe that a lost stronghold and foundry could be found beneath a particularly shaped mountain.
