October 16 - Forge of Fury, Prelude

Current Date: Night of 4 Heptatyr, 994 AN (New Moon)
AND EVERYONE IS BACK. Two days of trekking through the Drowned Forest landed the party at the gates of the Copperlocks Mines outpost. The Souper Troopers spent a day recovering, clearing out their lungs and getting some drinks, before heading back into the forest northward bound to find the Stone Tooth. During their ranging, the party stayed on the lookout for the annoying Shriekers that would call hostile creatures towards them, managing to avoid them for most of the time. Along the way, the party confronted small groups of Zombies and Blights before catching sight of a group of strange fungal creatures (Myconids) that were dancing around a pool of water. A lone Myconid Sprout by the name of Rumpadump informed the party that they had melded with some weird spores that had side effects. Not knowing what to do with them, the party invited Rumpadump to join them as they continued their path. Leaving the swampy Drowned Forest for the drier valleys to the west, the Souper Troopers did eventually catch sight of a large, bare knob of rock vaguely resembling a canine tooth - the Stone Tooth. They found the remains of a steep trail that led up the hillside until they caught sight of two bestial humanoids (Orcs, known to normally be aggressive) enjoying the view. They decided that the best approach to this was to enlarge Pickle and have him go threaten them. They ran around the corner into what seemed to be a more fortified location where we left of with the Orcs on high alert.
Rewards Granted
(Temporary?) Myconid Sprout ally - if they survive and the party still wants him, he can get sidekick levels later.
