Grandfather Frost Ded Moroz
Ded Moroz, also known as Gradfather Frost, is the father of Morozko, and grandfather of Snegurochka. He is the head of the Zima Family and is married to Bab Moroz (Grandmother Frost). Being an Animism Spirit, depictions of him can vary, but he is typically depicted as an old man with a long white beard and wearing a fur coat and hat. He is known for bringing gifts to children on Stary Nova and is often accompanied by his granddaughter, Snegurochka. He is believed to gift those he deems worthy powerful magical items disguised as toys.
